Experiencing last year's Rocklahoma... we flew into the state of Oklahoma... somewhat knowing what we'd be up against this year as well. In a sense...

Yes, the weather was much like it was during last year... but there was one day in partucular... that obviously stood out from the entire week I was there. One word... Saturday.

Before the band Trixter's set... a few of us noticed how extreme the tempeture has risen to be... as we were waiting for their set to start.

I was shooting the band from the front of the stage in the beginning and theN proceeded to get on stage to get a variation of shots. As each song concluded... I continued to watch the incredible storm (Being from California...we normally don't experience the extreme weather changes like that))... that was directed right to our destination. Especially noticing the incredible lightning!

When the rain finally decided start above us... is was great to watch the crowd and how it seemed that... no matter what weather we would witness... the show would have gone on! First the hard rain... then the extremely strong winds. Next thing ya know... I am literally watching one of the stages getting knocked down as the crowd begins to scatter! Thankfully, my friends were not getting ready to start their set like planned on that particular stage... and everyone was safe. I did take a shot of when the stage was being blown down... but my camera didn't pick up what was going in the background because of how dark the storm had turned everything... not to mention the winds and rain as well. It was a crazy experience to witness... to see how those react to extreme situations. It was defintely an eye-opening experience for all that were there to experience the event!

BUT... we are thankfully... all safe. There was one person that had passed away earlier in the weekend... but her death was not related to the storm that hit us. Thanks to all my friends and to the people that lended their assistance throughout this unforgettable experience.

I did try to shoot most of the bands on the main stage and a few of my other friends band's that were able to play on Sunday... so yes, I have MANY pictures to go through and to upload. Not to mention more candid shots of the people that attended this year's annual event. Thanks for your patience.

I have tried to upload a little variation of pictures in this album, that were taken throughout the 3 days that I spent documenting... this festival... appropriately named... ROCKLAHOMA! Yes... the weather was pretty brutal for most of us... but it was the music... the talent... that the large crowd was able to experience... as we realized once again... that some of us... are "stuck in the 80's" for a good reason.

I am thankful to have experienced "The 80's"... Back In The Day"...and enjoyed hearing the many songs again... that I remember... AND STILL DO LISTEN TO... during this festival.

Thanks to all the people that I was in contact with and to my friends... especially the artists... that have continued to share their talent with us. I do appreciate it!

ROCKLAHOMA PRESS CONFERENCE... WHISKEY A GO GO... 3.4.08 : Thank You Again Crissy and everyone involved with not only last year's ROCKLAHOMA... but those that were involved with this year's Press Conference and 2008's... ROCKLAHOMA as well. I know how much work goes into an event like this... so I thank you again... for YOUR help!
